This strategic milestone gives our Yukon clients access to international expertise, additional resources and enhanced knowledge‑sharing. To be clear, McKay and Associates remains locally owned and operated, with the same partners and team.

For two decades, we have combined the technical capability of a larger firm with the accessibility of a boutique, independent practice. Guided by a commitment to helping clients in the North adapt and prosper, we offer deep experience and expertise to a diverse range of organizations, including private enterprises, First Nations governments and not‑for‑profits. Joining PrimeGlobal enables us to build on that solid foundation.

Through the association, our team can now refer clients to specialized expertise when needed, collaborate with other member firms on cross‑border and multi‑jurisdictional tax issues and share best practices to further enhance our service offerings.

“We believe this is an important step for our clients and ourselves,” says Partner Jason McKay. “It gives our clients access to a wider scope of expertise while allowing us to remain independent and maintain the personal, partner‑led service that has defined our firm from the beginning. We’re excited for the new opportunities this association will bring – for both our team and clients.”

“Joining PrimeGlobal is an exciting milestone for our firm,” notes Partner Janna Therriault. “We are proud to become part of a respected global association that reflects our commitment to trusted relationships, high‑quality service and continuous growth. Our clients will benefit from expanded insight and resources, while our staff will gain new opportunities to collaborate, learn and build meaningful professional connections.”
